41 Pilgrims From Limbang Set Off For The Holy Land This Year
LIMBANG: A total of 41 pilgrims from the Limbang Division which includes the districts of Limbang and Lawas will be performing the Hajj pilgrimage this year with 31 of them managed under Lembaga Tabung Haji while the remaining pilgrims are under private travel agencies.
Deputy Minister for Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development (M-FICORD) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail advised all pilgrims to take care of their health throughout their stay in the Holy Land, in view of the current hot and dry weather conditions there.

“This matter has also been advised previously and pilgrims should make proper preparations,” he noted when speaking at the Departure Ceremony for Limbang Division Hajj Pilgrims for the 1447H/2026M season at Limbang Airport on Monday.
The Bukit Kota Assemblyman also emphasised the importance of thorough planning throughout the Hajj pilgrimage to ensure that health is maintained and that religious duties can be performed properly.

“I hope that you will adhere to all regulations set by the Government of Saudi Arabia, focus on your acts of worship as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I wish you a safe departure and a safe return,” he added.
