19 Political Secretaries To The Sarawak Premier Sworn In for Reappointment
KUCHING: A total of 19 individuals took their oaths of office for reappointment as Political Secretaries to the Sarawak Premier in a ceremony held at the Dining Hall of the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) on Friday.
The swearing-in ceremony was witnessed by Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
Those reappointed from the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) include Sarkawi Suhaili, Fridah Osman, Petrus Igat Mathias, Abdul Samat Kethergany, Dr. Dayang Nurfizawati Abang Abdul Karim, John Nyigor, Damen Rejek, Sayed Azmee Wan Junaidi, Awangku Jinal Abedin Dato Pengiran Jawa, Dominic Nyurang Ajang, Watson Awan Jalai, Afiq Fikri Brahim, Hajis Japar Labaw, and Collin Patan.
Also taking the oath were Fung Kok Shiun and Joshua Ting Fu Ying from the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP), Susan Clement Ingun and Thomas Balan Bang from Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), as well as Niponi Undek from the Sarawak United Peoples' Party (SUPP).
In attendance were Sarawak DUN Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nasar, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, DBKU and Islamic Affairs) Datuk Dr. Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Datuk Dr. Hazland Abang Hipni, and Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Labour, Immigration and Project Monitoring) Datuk Gerawat Gala.
Also present were the Chief Political Secretary to the Sarawak Premier Dato Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, Stakan Assemblyman Datuk Hamzah Brahim, Lingga Assemblywoman Dayang Noorazah Awang Sohor, Telang Usan Assemblyman Dato Dennis Ngau; and other dignitaries. — UKASnews
