Sarawak Secretary Urges Civil Servants To Embody Values Of Sacrifice
KUCHING: Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki urges the Sarawak Civil Service community to continue embodying the values of sacrifice, sincerity, and the spirit of togetherness in executing their duties for the people in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha 1447H/2026M.
According to him, Aidiladha is not merely a religious celebration, but also carries a profound meaning regarding sacrifice and sincerity in life as well as in service to the community.
“Aidiladha reminds us that success and prosperity cannot be achieved without sacrifice and sincerity. It also teaches us to always be grateful, share our blessings, and strengthen relationships among fellow human beings,” he said.
He said this in his message in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha 1447H/2026M on Tuesday, which was shared alongside his wife, Dato’ Baduyah Bujang.
He added that the noble values of Aidiladha should be used as a primary guiding principle among civil servants to ensure that the quality of service delivery to the people continues to be enhanced.
“Let us use the spirit of Aidiladha as an incentive to renew our resolve and improve the quality of our service for the prosperity of Sarawak,” he stated.
He also hoped that this year's Aidiladha celebration would bring blessings, strengthen unity, and foster harmony among the multi-racial and multi-religious community in the state. — UKASnews
