Cooperation Between Residents & Leaders Key To Accelerating Village Development Agenda
LUNDU: Close cooperation between residents and community leaders is crucial in ensuring that village development initiatives are implemented more effectively to improve the well-being of local communities.
Opar Assemblyman Billy Sujang said the various facilities and development projects that have been completed and are currently being implemented in the Opar constituency are the result of continuous collaboration between the community, elected representatives and government agencies to ensure that the needs of the people are properly addressed.
He said this while speaking at a Meet-and-Greet Session with residents of Kampung Temaga Melayu here on Friday.
At the same time, he reaffirmed his commitment to continue highlighting the concerns and needs of residents to the relevant authorities so that more development projects and public facilities can be implemented in the future for the benefit of the local community.
The event also featured the presentation of food baskets to 10 recipients as a gesture of concern for those in need and as part of efforts to help ease their burden.
