KUCHING: The Sarawak Attorney-General's Chambers received a courtesy visit from the Johor State Legal Advisor, Dato' Abdul Aziz Engan, and his delegation, along with officers from the Johor Federal Department of Director General of Lands and Mines, comprising a total of 21 people, at Wisma Bapa Malaysia on Friday.

The delegation was received by Sarawak Attorney-General Dato Sri Saferi Ali, together with Senior State Counsel and Head of the Research Division, Dr Jady @ Zaidi Hassim.

The courtesy visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the Sarawak Attorney-General's Chambers and the agencies concerned, as well as to share experience in handling civil cases, particularly those related to native customary land in Sarawak.

In this regard, a presentation was delivered by Senior Sarawak Counsel Mohd Adzrul Adzlan for the sharing session, in line with the relevant provisions under the Sarawak Land Code.

Also present were Senior State Counsels, State Counsels, and staff of the Sarawak Attorney-General's Chambers. -UKASnews
