Pantai Damai Skuad Prihatin Reaches Out To Five Families In Santubong Zone
KUCHING: Five families in need within the Santubong Zone received various forms of assistance through a compassionate outreach programme organised by the Pantai Damai ‘Skuad Prihatin’ on Thursday.
Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, Kuching North City Commission and Islamic Affairs) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, accompanied by his wife, participated in the visits to the recipients' homes to engage with them, assess their needs and observe their living conditions.
The visits included three families residing at the Petra Jaya People’s Housing Programme (PPR), as well as one family each in Taman Family Park and Kampung Rampangi Skim.
During the programme, aid comprising wheelchairs, daily necessities, food baskets and financial contributions was provided to help alleviate the burdens faced by the recipients.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the Pantai Damai ‘Skuad Prihatin' to engage with the community, particularly the less privileged and those in need of welfare support.
Such programmes are intended to help improve the well-being of those in need, while simultaneously fostering a spirit of compassion and togetherness within the local community. -UKASnews
