IGAN: The Aidilfitri event organised by the Igan Sub-District Urusetia Saudara Kita (USK) enlivened the Hari Raya festivities among new Muslim converts taking place in a lively atmosphere at the Igan Community Hall, on Thursday.

Igan Member of Parliament Ahmad Johnie Zawawi officiated the ceremony which brought together new Muslim converts with the local community.

In his speech, he expressed appreciation for the role of USK in guiding and supporting the new converts, thus strengthening community ties in the area.

He also emphasised that Aidilfitri serves as the best platform to strengthen ties of kinship and foster unity among the community. -UKASnews
