Monthly Meet & Greet Strengthens Ties Between Datuk Snowdan & Balai Ringin Residents
BALAI RINGIN: The monthly ‘Temu Santai’ programme with Balai Ringin Assemblyman Datuk Snowdan Lawan continues to serve as an important platform in strengthening ties with his constituents.
The programme, held at the Balai Ringin Service Centre, brought together about 30 locals including village chiefs and community leaders from surrounding areas.
During the informal session, Datuk Snowdan who is also Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts emphasised the importance of two-way communication between elected representatives and the community in ensuring the smooth implementation of development in the respective areas.
According to him, platforms such as this provide residents with the opportunity to directly voice their views, suggestions and current issues, enabling more effective follow-up action.
Residents who attended welcomed the initiative, saying it created opportunities for closer and more open interaction with their elected representative, while strengthening the spirit of cooperation in developing the Balai Ringin area. -UKASnews
