MAKSAK Sarawak Women & BPHB Strengthen Strategic Ties Through Pickleball Friendly Match
BINTULU: A Pickleball friendly match organised by MAKSAK Sarawak Women in collaboration with Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) successfully brought together members of the public and corporate sectors in a relaxed yet spirited atmosphere at Kenyalang Pickle Ball, here on Thursday.
The event was enlivened by the presence of Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki along with state government leadership and BPHB management representatives.
Among the dignitaries present were Bintulu Division Resident Datu Nyurak Keti, Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) Director Awang Putrayusrie Awang Redzuan, Bintulu Division Deputy Resident Abang Zainuddin Abang Turkey, Bintulu District Officer Awang Mohammed Nizam Awang Ali Bohan and Tatau District Officer Calvin Ligong.
The programme reflected the continued commitment of both the state government and corporate sector in strengthening strategic cooperation through sports and recreational platforms.
Pickleball is increasingly regarded as an effective avenue for fostering a more harmonious, active and competitive working environment, while also promoting a healthy lifestyle among the workforce.
Also present were Chairperson of MAKSAK Sarawak Women Dato Baduyah Bujang, Chairperson of the Working Committee of Sarawak Badan Amal Tenaga Isteri-Isteri (SABATI) Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Iskandar, Chairperson of the MAKSAK Sarawak Women Welfare Bureau Datin Daisy Dayus, SABATI Treasurer Datin Siti Shorgayah Ahmad Zaidin and Deputy Chairperson of MAKSAK Sarawak Women Datin Sri Haizan Ibrahim.
Representing BPHB were Group Stakeholder Relations General Manager Maslihah Tioh, as well as Matshalleh Mohamad Etli and Awang Faizol Awang Sallam. -UKASnews
