Kampung Peramas Requires Structured Development Planning
SIBURAN: Kampung Peramas which was recently established as a new village requires a structured development plan.
Sarawak Deputy Minister for Transport Datuk Dr Jerip Susil said that five infrastructure projects have been successfully completed in the village.
"Five infrastructure development projects have been successfully implemented in Kampung Peramas with a total cost of RM600,000, thus improving basic facilities and the well-being of the community," he said.
He said this when speaking at the Pre-Gawai 2026 Dinner organised by the Kampung Peramas Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) on Sunday.
According to the Mambong Assemblyman, the next project will be a multipurpose hall, aimed to provide convenience and comfort for the local community to interact and hold community programmes.
In the meantime, Datuk Dr Jerip said that the granting of land titles to the residents of Kampung Seratau and the surrounding areas is scheduled for 5 August.
He said that the initiative is expected to be a catalyst for economic development and the well-being of future generations. -UKASnews
