KAPIT: Minister of Works and Kapit Member of Parliament Dato' Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi spent time mingling with the community and touring exhibition booths at the Program Sarawakku Sayang 2026 Kapit Division Level, held at the programme venue here on Friday.

The interaction session, held right after the Pre-Launch Ceremony, was aimed at engaging with the local community as well as reviewing the programme's content, specially prepared for residents of Kapit Division.

Accompanied by state leaders and senior government officials, he visited various exhibition booths covering development projects, government department service counters and security agency exhibits.

During the same visit, he also spent time chatting with local entrepreneurs showcasing a range of food products and creative handicrafts.

Also taking part in the visit were Deputy Minister at the Sarawak Premier's Department (Law and Native Customs) and Bukit Goram Assemblyman Datuk Jefferson Jamit Unyat, Deputy Minister of Utility & Telecommunication and Belaga Assemblyman Datuk Liwan Lagang, Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Administration) Datu Felicia Tan Ya Hua, Murum Assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai Ugon, Secretary to the Minister of Works Datuk Alvin Runggah Jimbun, and Political Secretary to the Sarawak Premier Watson Awan Jalai.

Also present were Kapit Resident Elvis Didit, Deputy Kapit Resident Robert Liman Deli, Song District Officer Harry Bruce Edwin, Bukit Mabong District Officer Jabang Juntan, and Belaga District Officer Bidah Lujah. -UKASnews
