Sarawak Premier Attends Wedding Reception Of Datuk Abdullah Saidol's Children
KUCHING: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg was among the line-up of state leaders who attended the wedding reception of the children of the Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Corporate Affairs, Information and UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol at Majma Tuanku Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Hall here last night.
Accompanied by his daughter, Dayang Norjihan Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari, he arrived at approximately 8:30 p.m. and was warmly welcomed by Datuk Abdullah and his wife, Datin Nora Ashikin Ibrahim, alongside other dignitaries.
Also present were Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian and his wife Datin Amar Enn Ong, Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, Sarawak Minister for Utility and Telecommunications Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, Sarawak Minister for Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah, and Malaysian Minister for Works Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
In addition, the event was attended by the Deputy Minister for Utility (Sarawak Energy Berhad and PETROS) Datuk Ibrahim Baki, Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, Chief Political Secretary to the Premier of Sarawak Dato Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, Batu Kitang Assemblyman Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang, Tanjung Manis Member of Parliament Dato Ir Yusuf Abdul Wahab, as well as other distinguished guests.
Nearly 800 guests were also in attendance to grace the reception, which was enlivened by cultural performances and a special sketch.
The event was further highlighted by vocal performances from renowned national artist Bob Yusof and local singers.
For the record, Damia Nur Abdullah (31) and her partner Mustafa Kamal Yahya (36), alongside Lieutenant Danishafiq Abdullah and his partner Nr Nadirah Adnan, both aged 28, had previously solemnised their marriages in Peninsular Malaysia. — UKASnews
